Join us at the Historical Society

Have you ever wondered about the history of Jefferson Park (and of East Point in general)? Do you want to meet/reconnect with neighbors after the holidays/the busy-ness of January! If you said yes to either of those questions, our first mixer of 2019 may interest you!

The East Point Historical Society will be opening their doors to Jefferson Park neighbors to share a bit about the history of our neighborhood and city. This is also an opportunity for you to share your own stories about the history of Jefferson Park as you’ve observed and experienced it! It should be fun and interesting, and I hope that you’ll be able to make it.

The mixer will be on Saturday, February 9 from 1-3 p.m. The East Point Historical Society is hosting us for free, but to thank them and support their amazing work preserving the history of our community, we suggest that everyone who is able bring a small donation ($5 recommended, optional). You can also bring an appetizer/snack to share as we chat and learn. JPNA will be providing utensils/napkins/plates, soda, and water.
