Laura Reid, President

Laura and her husband Guy have lived in Jefferson Park since 2018. They and their two dogs, Jasper and Gus, live happily on East Forrest. Laura is originally from North Carolina and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She works for the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning as the manager of relationship-based professional learning.

Carrie Ziegler, Member at Large

Carrie grew up in Cincinnati Ohio and moved to the Atlanta area in 2015. She proudly purchased her first home in Jefferson Park in 2017. The charm of the neighborhood and the kindness of neighbors drew her here.

In her spare time, Carrie loves to travel. She has a goal of visiting all 50 states and every continent in her lifetime. She is also a fan of martial arts, board games, and dancing. Carrie is also passionate about the environment and is a founding member of the East Point Environmental Collective.

Deidra Tyree, Member at Large

Deidra Tyree is an Artist and Professor of Art & Media at Clark Atlanta University where she currently teaches Photography & Design.  She also brings Dance, Yoga & Meditation to the East Point community through her mobile studio Diaspora Lotus. Although she was born in Georgia, Deidra was raised in Oklahoma where she studied film, photography and dance at OU (University of Oklahoma) while working with National Dance Alliance and the YMCA of Oklahoma City.  After relocating to Atlanta in 2005, she spent many years working in the film/tv/commercial/live events industries in multiple capacities from choreographer to camera operator, and most recently as a production coordinator. Deidra is also an alumni of SCAD Atlanta (Savannah College of Art & Design) where she received two Master of Fine Arts degrees in Photography & Sculpture.  

Deidra has been a Georgia resident now for over 15 years living in Little Five Points, Midtown, and Decatur.  But, her favorite by far is being apart of the neighborhood of Jefferson Park in East Point, Georgia where she hopes to use her talents to keep JP flourishing!  

Crissy Hudson, Member at Large

Christine (Crissy) is a native of Boston Massachusetts and moved to Georgia in 2001. She met her husband, Reggie, here in Georgia and they found their first home in Jefferson Park in July of 2018. 

Crissy is currently employed at Ameris Bank in the Financial Crimes/Compliance department as the Quality Control Manager.  

Crissy enjoys crafting, antiquing, gaming and traveling in her spare time.  What she enjoys even more is spending time with family and friends.

Dominique Williams, Member at Large

Dominique was born and raised right here in Atlanta, GA. She graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and went on to obtain her MBA from Kennesaw State University. She currently works for the state of Georgia as a Compliance Manager.

Dominique and her husband moved to Jefferson Park in 2019 after falling in love with the charming older homes in the neighborhood. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, writing, watching movies, learning new hobbies, and spending time with family and friends.
