Join your neighbors for our monthly Oz Pizza Night in October! When you order between 5 p.m. and closing, just say that you are supporting Jefferson Park Neighbors Association, and a portion of the receipts supporting JPNA will be donated to JPNA to support the work we do!

This month, that work includes a shoe drive with Tri-Cities High School. We’re collecting teenager-appropriate styles such as sneakers or similar styles in women’s size 5-11 and men’s size 8-14. You can drop off donations at 1396 Carnegie Ave. or 2478 Batavia St.  The drive will run until Friday, Oct. 5.

• TCHS Football Game – Friday, Oct. 12 at 7:30 p.m.

• Bryan Avenue Halloween – Wednesday, Oct. 31 (candy drive will begin this week!)

Finally, our neighbors at TCHS have reached out about their upcoming Rake Day on Nov. 10 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This year, they would like to spend their Rake Day raking the yards of neighbors who are unable to do so themselves, particularly our older neighbors or neighbors with disabilities. If you know of a neighbor who may appreciate this help, please email JPNA President Kristi Allen with their name and address.
