Shoe Drive for Tri-Cities under way

JPNA has been in contact with the social worker at TCHS about other ways that our neighborhood can help out and support the school and students. She noted that many students come to school in house slippers/sandals, which are not safe for a high school environment and are not suitable for the colder weather we will soon be facing.

JPNA Oz Pizza Night – Tuesday, October 2

Please join us for our monthly Oz Pizza Night in October! When you order between 5PM and closing, just say that you are supporting Jefferson Park Neighbors Association, and a portion of the receipts supporting JPNA will be donated to JPNA to support the work we do!

Destination East Point – Saturday, October 6

JPNA has applied to have a table at Destination East Point, and we plan to do a bake sale and raffle to raise funds to replace our missing street toppers. Please consider donating some baked goods or a raffle item for this event – more info to come!

JPNA Mixer at Kupcakerie – Saturday, October 13

It’s mixer time again! From 12-2pm on Saturday, October 13, we hope you’ll stop by Kupcakerie to grab a cupcake, some coffee, and hang out with neighbors! We’ll be bringing some board games, and it should be fun! 🙂
We are planning to arrange a group for neighbors interested in attending an upcoming TCHS football game (the one Principal Mccrary-Lakes mentioned at our JPNA meeting last month) on Friday, October 12. If you are interested, be on the lookout for more info in an upcoming email and on our JPNA Facebook page.

Most importantly, it’s almost October which means time to prepare for Halloween on Bryan Avenue. More info to come on that!
